Vous aimerez aussi
On nous a vendu un film digne des monumentaux Taxi Driver et La valse des pantins de Martin Scorsese. Mais Joker est bien loin de ces deux modèles.
En effet le film de Todd Philips est d'un vide sidéral : truffé de références aux films violents des années 70 comme Taxi Driver, Maniac, ou Un justicier de la ville, Joker imbrique toutes ses références pour les vider complètement de leur sens et en faire un vulgaire objet marketing.
N'attendez pas un film brutal et sans concessions : Joker n'est qu'un film banal et surfait, qui ne raconte rien et qui amasse du vent à l'image de la scène ridicule ou Joaquin Phoenix se met à danser sur un escalier. L'acteur est d'ailleurs désastreux dans le rôle, se vautrant dans les pires défauts de l'actor studio.
Joker se permet même de massacrer la mythologie de Batman. En témoigne le personnage de Thomas Wayne, qui est présenté comme un vulgaire riche trumpiste, bien loin du milliardaire philanthrope du comics. Bref, un vrai ratage.
