Synopsis Winter Break
Winter Break ou The Holdovers en VO est un film réalisé par Alexander Payne dont la sortie est prévue en France le 13 Décembre 2023.
Un professeur d'histoire bourru et mal-aimé dans une école préparatoire en 1970 en Nouvelle-Angleterre, n'a pas de famille et nulle part où aller pour les vacances de Noël. Il reste à l'école pour surveiller les élèves qui ne peuvent pas rentrer chez eux. Bientôt, il n'en restera plus qu'un - Angus, un bon élève mais très turbulent.
Ils sont rejoints par la cuisinière en chef de Deerfield, une afro-américaine qui s'occupe des fils de privilégiés et dont le propre enfant a récemment disparu au Vietnam. Ces trois exclus vont former une famille improbable durant deux semaines.
