Une Merveilleuse Histoire du Temps, ou The Theory of Everything en version originale, est un film de James Marsh. Tourné en anglais en 2014, il est sorti en France le 21 janvier 2015. C'est un drame et une romance.
Biopic consacré au physicien théoricien Stephen Hawking.
En 1963, Stephen Hawking est un brillant étudiant en Cosmologie à l’Université de Cambridge qui entend bien élucider les mystères de l'univers.
Il tombe amoureux de Jane Wilde et tout lui sourit quand on lui diagnostique la maladie de Charcot : une dystrophie musculaire qui va progressivement le paralyser et le tuer en moins de 2 ans.
Il épouse néanmoins Jane et va alors concentrer ses recherches sur ce qu’il a de plus précieux : le temps.
40 ans plus tard Stephen Hawking est encore vivant et est devenu l'un des astrophysicien les plus réputés au monde.
