Dans le même temps, un aventurier intrépide nommé Hank Mitchell fait une découverte incroyable au cœur des jungles de Bornéo : une immense gorille femelle nommée Lady Kong. Il décide alors de l'amener à l'Institut pour rejoindre son compagnon blessé.
